It’s never too late to change your life’s course.

My philosophy as a coach is to utilize my experiences to meet my athletes where they are no matter what their level of experience. The cornerstone of a successful coach/athlete relationship is the close partnership that is built on regular communication and feedback. After all, anyone can find a training plan. The value the coach provides is creating a custom training plan to fit the athlete, their goals, and life schedule. The open communication takes the guesswork out of implementation and execution

Over the last twenty years, with the help of mentors and my own study and experience I amassed a great amount of knowledge of all aspects of the sport. My expertise includes diet, strength training, nutrition, equipment, scheduling (training) and race strategy. I hold USAT Level 1, TrainingPeaks Level 2 and US Masters coaching certifications. I was head coach for the YMCA program with over 50 members for 5 years. At the YMCA, I worked with athletes of all levels competing in everything from 5k’s to Ironman distance triathlons. At Gu3 Training, I have worked with the same type of athletes and coached dozens to first time finishes as well as IM 70.3 World and Kona slots. I work on triathlon and run training programs for athletes throughout the United States.

My approach to balancing training with all the aspects of day-to-day life will take the guesswork out of the process
